Creativity and Commitment

Our passion and commitment for discovering new ways to harness existing thermal resources and recycling our own thermal waste is core to our mission. reXorce was formed to pursue profit with a purpose, by providing innovative solutions to the world’s energy challenges. We intend to meaningfully impact the way thermal energy is sourced, produced, distributed and consumed.

We invite you to explore what makes reXorce Thermionics a uniquely different company and how our determination to protect our environment and restore the world’s energy balance drive everything we do. Keep watching as we harvest heat to power the planet.

reXorce Thermionics, Inc. is a rapidly growing, privately held corporation, headquartered in North East Ohio.
We have created an environment focused on providing our employees, consultants, strategic partners and customers with truly challenging and meaningful work. We are actively seeking talented and highly motivated people who are equally compelled by what they are working on and why this work is important.

We are currently seeking new Product Development Engineers to join our product development team. The positions call for talented, hard working individuals to assist in the direct design, development, testing and documentation of our new Thermafficient™ engine. Superior troubleshooting and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to innovate and think laterally. It is preferential that candidates have experience in the following areas:

  • Power Generation systems
  • High pressure systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Solar thermal and geothermal systems

We pride ourselves on our creativity and commitment to “changing the game” and are willing to consider well qualified and motivated professionals for positions as yet unidentified.

The immediate job opportunities are as follows:

Mechanical Engineers will play a key role in the development of the initial and subsequent prototypes of the Thermafficient™ thermal engine. This development effort will involve CAD-based component/system design and integration. We are looking for someone with experience in prototype development of thermodynamic/HVAC systems who is familiar with thermal-fluids instrumentation (pressure, temperature, mass flow sensors), data acquisition, and control. Labview programming and experience with high-pressure systems would be a plus.

Application Engineers will be responsible for adapting the prototype design of the Thermafficient™ thermal engine to match the particular field conditions of installation sites for demonstration devices. The primary task will be to design the heat-exchanging system that brings the waste (or other) heat generated on site into the thermal engine to be converted into useful power. The Application Engineer will also work to determine the optimum thermodynamic operating conditions for the Thermafficient™ cycle based on the nature (temperature, energy) of the heat available at a particular site. Preference will be given to those with heat exchanger design experience. The successful applicant must be willing to travel to potential installation sites (primarily US-based) and should be comfortable in an industrial setting.
